Professor Snailsquare McBoxington II, Earl of Cublandia, also known as Mr. Snailsquare, is an alien from the planet Sqworld, in which all life has for some unknown reason evolved into square shapes. The smartest Earthologist on the planet, Mr. Snailsquare was granted a noble title, and ownership of a large estate in the region of Cublandia. He has been sent from space in order to make contact with humans, widely regarded as the most dangerous species out of the habitable planets, and attempt to broker intergalactic peace between the two planets.
In Sqworld, all creatures are capable of sentient thought, and even speech! Because of this, Mr.Snailsquare can actually speak all human languages fluently, and has been attempting to teach his fellow Cublandians these wonderful languages. There’s a small problem, however. Sqworld is 1/100th the size of Earth! Sqworld couldn’t support large, complex life because of its size, meaning that all the intelligent species are the size of bugs. In fact, it seems that all the Sqworldian species seem to closely mimic the little insectile creatures of our own planet Earth. Due to the planet’s tiny size, snails became one of the dominant species, their slow speed irrelevant when everything else is so much smaller.
Because of this, Mr. Snailsquare must find a way to escape the dangers of the massive Earth creatures surrounding him, and somehow find a way to get the humans to notice him! He is constantly harassed by the birds that tower over him, and his voice is so quiet that the tall humans can’t hear him from all the way below their shoes. Will he succeed? How will he do it? And most importantly, how will the humans react to a tiny, square-shaped talking snail asking for a peace treaty between planets?
